The Shahi Jama Masjid in Moradabad, India, was constructed in the early 17th century. The structure is a massive, red sandstone building featuring a large courtyard and several minarets. Its main entrance is on the east side and is elegantly designed with a pointed arch supported by four columns, topped with a multilayered dome. Inside the mosque, the floor is covered in marble and the walls are intricately decorated with carved designs, gilded arches, and colorful mosaic tiles. The main prayer hall has three massive arches supported by a central pillar. There are also several cells used as storerooms and small domed rooms used as studios for calligraphers. The mosque also features several galleries and a big inner courtyard. To the west, there is a large fountain and a small pavilion. After passing the second village, take left turn towards Karmpur-Akbarpur Road and follow the road for around 11 kilometers. Take right turn at Baldeo Kalan towards Harbanspur Road and follow the road for around 6 kilometers. The mosque is located on the left side of the road. From Moradabad : Take Shiv Mandir Road and drive on Behsuma Road, turn left onto the corridor of Hindon Green Market Yard and drive for 1.4 kilometers.
