It is surrounded by four domes, which are topped by a series of cusped arches and covered with intricate designs and paintings. The inner walls of the shrine are decorated with Biblical verses, and the ceiling is adorned with wall paintings depicting scenes from the life of the saint. On the sides of the shrine are marble columns, which are topped with exquisite designs. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
