Located on the banks of Hunamati River, the shrine is made of dressed stone masonry and plaster. The main entrance of the dargah is flanked by two ornately decorated cenotaphs. The entrance gate is decorated with floral motifs and paneled with eight marble pillars. Inside, there are two courtyards: the eastern courtyard and the western courtyard. The eastern courtyard contains the main shrine of Khwaja Bandanawaz and a merchant hall. The western courtyard has the residence of the saint, a prayer hall and a pavilion. The hall and pavilion are built in Indo-Islamic style with vibrantly painted interiors. The walls and ceilings are decorated with geometric and floral artworks, while the arches are adorned with stained glass windows. Apart from the main shrine, the dargah also houses various other shrines and tombs. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
