Tallinna Vanausuliste Kogudus is one of the oldest and most active Lutheran churches in Estonia. It was founded in 1550 and is one of the oldest churches still actively serving congregations in Estonia. The church serves both an Estonian and English-speaking congregation. It is considered to be one of the spiritual centers of the country, with its dedication to preserving the values and culture of the Estonian people. The church also has a strong focus on social justice, providing support and services to the poor and marginalized communities of Estonia. It has been a strong advocate for the rights of Estonia’s minority ethnic groups and has worked closely with the Estonian Orthodox Church to promote reconciliation and understanding between faiths. It also has a special mission to foster ecumenical understanding between major churches and denominations in Estonia. Various services are offered at the church, including regular worship services, Bible study, youth and children’s activities, and outreach and community development efforts.
