Ambla Church in Estonia is a 13th-century church located near the town of Ambla in central Estonia. It was built by the Teutonic Order, one of the preeminent crusading organizations of the Middle Ages. The church, made of sandstone, is best known for its impressive Gothic spire. It is one of the oldest stone structures in Estonia, and is considered a symbol of the defense of the country from the foreign invaders. History:

The interior of the church dates to the 17th century and has a highly decorated altar. The original walls and ceiling have mostly disappeared, but some decorations, murals and artifacts remain. The spire was added in 1720 and is 33 meters (108 feet) high. The crypts underneath the church are believed to have been built in the 15th century. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Estonia.
