The Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Estonian Conference In Estonia (EEVA) is the largest Protestant denomination in Estonia. Members of EEVA worship on the seventh day of the week, Saturday, rather than Sunday. EEVA was officially registered with the Estonian government in 1991 and since then, the church has grown significantly and today boasts over 3,000 members.
EEVA’s mission is to spread the message of Jesus Christ and create a space for people to develop relationships with him. EEVA’s main focus is on the family and providing spiritual guidance to married couples and families who have chosen a Seventh-Day Adventist lifestyle. EEVA also emphasizes the importance of social responsibility and endeavours to render services to the wider community.
In addition to providing regular church services, EEVA offers a wide range of services to its members, including educational programs such as Sunday school and Pathfinder clubs. These programs also extend to the wider Estonian community, including educational materials about lifestyle, health, and environmental issues. The church also runs several youth and children’s outreach programs, and provides spiritual guidance and counseling services to its members. EEVA also has a publishing house that produces a range of literature and resources, including books, audio CDs, and tracts.
The church currently has 8 churches, 2 schools, and 5 medical centers in Estonia. EEVA is part of the world Seventh-Day Adventist Church and is affiliated with other European and international organizations.
