Şəhidlər Məscidi (Martyrs' Mosque) is a mosque located in the city of Baku, Azerbaijan. It was built in 2010 to commemorate the heroes and martyrs of the Nagorno-Karabakh War (1992–94). It is the largest mosque in the city and is visible throughout the city. It is located near the Martyrs' Lane memorial complex which was established to honor those who gave their lives during the conflict. The mosque was constructed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and was designed by Azerbaijani architects. It has a large dome, four minarets, and an interior featuring highly detailed carpentry and artwork with images of martyrs, engraved tiles, and ornate decorations. The building also houses a museum and library, and a library hall with a capacity of 300 people, which is used for cultural events and religious ceremonies. The interior walls are embellished with various Islamic motifs, while its exterior walls feature engraved inscriptions of verses from the Quran.
