Brief History:
is a large mosque in the city of Khachmaz, Azerbaijan, located at the centre of the city in a prominent location and constructed to cater to the large number of people who had begun to arrive in the city in the late 20th century. The mosque was built in 1998, on a plot of land donated by the local authorities in order to provide religious services to the people of the city. The mosque was built to a traditional design, with two levels, a two-storey portico shaped like a half moon and a minaret. The mosque is large enough to accommodate up to 1,000 worshippers, and it regularly has hundreds of people attending its services each day. The mosque is open all day every day and prayers are held five times a day, in accordance with Muslim customs. It is one of the most famous mosque in Azerbaijan which you must visit.

The Khachmaz Central Mosque in Azerbaijan is a modern structure made of reinforced concrete and brick and features both traditional Azerbaijani and Islamic design elements. The building features a two-story structure with an octagonal-shaped minaret rising in the center of the main building. The mosque has a large courtyard enclosed by brick walls and several graves in the center. Inside the mosque, the hall is decorated with intricate ornaments, colorful carpets, and colorful ceramic tiles. The walls are covered with verses from the Quran and inscriptions. The main prayer hall has marble columns and arches painted with a yellow and white checkered pattern. The mosque also contains a library, several lecture rooms, and offices. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
