History:

The parish of St. Oswald was created in 1926, when Bishop Christopher E. Byrne established it as a mission church of St. Rose of Lima parish. The mission was initially housed in a wooden frame building with seating for 400. The new parish was named after Saint Oswald, the 7th century Anglo-Saxon King and saint. St. Oswald Catholic Church This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Austria.
