Catholic Church of the New Guards (Immaculate Conception of Mary) is a Roman Catholic church located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1875, the church is dedicated to the Immaculate Conception of Mary. It is one of the best churches in Austria which you must visit.

History:

The church was founded as a result of an influx of German and Irish immigrants to the area in the late 19th century. Initially, services were held in a nearby Lutheran church; in 1880, a location was purchased on Ogden Street and a new church dedicated to the Immaculate Conception was built. The church was drastically remodeled in the early 1940s to serve the needs of its larger congregation. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Austria.
