History:

Curtain Bluff is a five-star resort located on the south coast of Antigua. It was founded in 1962 by a Canadian entrepreneur, Gordon “Butch” Stewart. He bought the property from Herbert Clarke, who had originally acquired it from the Crown in 1860. At first, the resort was nothing more than a beach cottage and a small collection of villas. Butch Stewart’s ambition was to transform it into a world-class destination. Over the next several decades, he and his team expanded the property, adding amenities and accommodations. Today, Curtain Bluff is one of the most well-regarded resorts in the Caribbean, renowned for its beachfront location, luxury amenities, and attentive service. Curtain Bluff has been featured in a variety of magazines, newspaper, and television programs.
