History:

The Vallnord Arinsal ski resort in Andorra was first established in 1993. The ski area had 37 kilometers of ski slopes which were serviced by one chairlift. In 1995, the ski resort was expanded to include an additional 10 kilometers of ski slopes serviced by two more chairlifts. By the early 2000s, Vallnord Arinsal had gone through significant expansion and development and the ski area had grown to include more than 50 kilometers of ski slopes. In addition to new chairlifts, the resort also had gondolas and two snow parks providing plenty of entertainment for all levels of skiers. In recent years, Vallnord Arinsal has added a variety of modern amenities and services including lodges, restaurants, and bars. The resort also has a Snow Garden offering tubing opportunities, a Ski School, and a Freestyle Park. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, Vallnord Arinsal also offers a variety of summer activities such as mountain biking, paragliding, and a zip line.
