Tophane Mosque is a historical mosque located in the city of Trabzon in Turkey. It was built in 1593 at the orders of Sultan Yavuz Sultan Selim (known as Suleiman The Magnificent) and is still an active place of worship. It is a single domed structure with an inscription written by the great Ottoman calligrapher, Mustafa Aga. The mosque is decorated with Ottoman tiles, and its minbar is a masterpiece of wood carving.
