It is the museum that is dedicated to preserving and displaying the artifacts, sculptures, artwork, and documents found throughout the city and its surrounding region. It is located on the Ataturk Caddesi, close to the Karabük Street in the center of the city. The museum has an extensive collection of artwork, relics, manuscripts, and documents dating from the pre-Ottoman and Ottoman periods, as well as a wide range of ethnographic material. The artifacts are divided into five main categories: archaeological, ethnographic, Islamic art, literature, and jewellery.
