The worship method of Sarangapani Temple is based on the traditional Agama methodology established in the Tamil states. The rituals performed at the temple are performed according to the Pancharathra Agama. The presiding deity, Sarangapani is worshipped as Narayana with his consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi. The process of worship begins with devotees chanting the Salagraha (morning invocation) mantras and performing abhisheka, pooja and aradhanas. Akshatas, jasmine and flowers are used in the rituals.
