Brief History:
consists of the, construction of the mosque in 2011, by the Royal Decree of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said. The mosque is located at the Al Wahat East, close to Sunaina Town, about 13 km away from the city center of Muscat. It is the largest mosque in the governorate of Muscat and one of the leading mosques in the country. The mosque is built with three domes of solid ancient masonry with a single minaret in the center. The interior of the mosque is tiled with simple but elegant decorations. It features a spacious courtyard, an auditorium, a library, and other facilities to serve the worshippers. It is one of the most famous mosque in Oman which you must visit.
