Brief History:
is located in Al Rustaq’s eastern part of Al Batinah, in Al Salamah Wadi. It is considered one of the largest mosques in the region, built in the late 1980s and is known for its large minarets, which are more than 60 meters high. The mosque can accommodate around 7000 worshippers at any one time. It is considered to be the most important mosque in Al Rustaq and has served as the main mosque for the local community for many years. It is one of the most famous mosque in Oman which you must visit.

The Al Salamah East North Central Mosque in Oman is a mosque located in the city of Muscat, Oman. The mosque was built in 2016 to replace the existing one which was established in 1980. The mosque consists of a large central prayer hall with two side prayer halls. The main prayer hall is situated around a raised pulpit and features a beautiful green dome, which stands out amongst the city’s skyline. Other features of the building include prayer rooms, classrooms, a library, an ablution area and a small café. The mosque is also set in a large garden, where worshippers are invited to relax and take in the scenery. The building is a mixture of modern and traditional architecture, which makes for a stunning sight. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.

The visiting hours for Al Salamah East North Central Mosque in Muscat, Oman are from 7:00am to 9:00pm daily. The mosque is open all days of the week. However, during the month of Ramadan, the mosque will be open for longer hours. best mosque in the world.
