Brief History:
is It is one of the oldest mosques in the area and was built in the 17th century CE (11th Hegira). The mosque is located on the top of a hill in the north-west corner of Wadi Sirdan and is of rectangular shape. It contains four domed chambers with two cups in each. The niches are decorated with local inscriptions from the Quran, Hadith and a commentary. It is one of the most famous mosque in Oman which you must visit.
Architecture:
The Al Qadah North West Mosque is a modern place of worship located in the Seeb district of Muscat, the capital of Oman. The mosque has been designed with contemporary elements inspired by traditional Omani architectural features. The building is symmetrically arranged around a large central courtyard which acts as the heart of the mosque. The central dome is conical, and encircled by smaller domes and minarets. The mosque’s exterior is clad in natural stone and render giving it a soothing atmosphere. The interior of the mosque is decorated with intricate designs and patterned tile-work. A large prayer hall and range of classrooms and other facilities are located within the mosque. A grand entrance leads to the prayer hall, where latticed screens frame the view out towards the courtyard. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.

The visiting hours of the Al Qadah North West Mosque in Oman are Sunday to Thursday 8am to 11am and 4pm to 9pm, and Fridays 4pm to 8pm. best mosque in the world.

Al Qadah North West Mosque is located in Muscat, Oman. It is situated along Highway 15, in the Boushar area, 8 km north of the city center. The nearest airport to the mosque is Muscat International Airport, which is approximately 30 km away.
