Al Hujayrah Mosque is the first mosque in the wilayat of Al Hujayrah, Sultanate of Oman. It is located on the main square in the village of Al Hujayrah, near the ancient hills that rise above the village. The mosque was built in 1424 AD by a muslim religious leader from Hadramawt in southern Arabia and was subsequently transformed into a shrine. The madrasa (religious school) attached to the mosque teaches religion, Islamic law, and logic. The mosque is simple but dignified, with a simple dome and four vaults. Since it was built, the mosque has been used for religious lectures every Friday and as a gathering place for special occasions and festivals. In recent years it has become the focus of all the activities of the Al Hujayrah village residents. It is one of the most famous mosque in Oman which you must visit.

The Al Hujayrah Mosque in Oman is located in the city of Buraimi, which is the administrative capital of the Al Buraimi Governorate. The mosque is located at the intersection of Buraimi and Al Ain roads, and can be accessed by taking the Al Buraimi exit off the Muscat-Dubai Highway. It is approximately an hour and a half drive from Muscat and less than 20 minutes from Al Ain. The mosque is open for all prayers between 4:00am until sunset every day, and is well maintained. It is capable of accommodating up to 2,000 worshippers and has a mihrab, minbar, and two minarets.
