Al Hail Industrial East Mosque is one of the oldest and most significant mosques in the country of Oman. It is believed to have been constructed in 1776, during the reign of Sultan Saif bin Sultan Al-Said. Architecture:
The Al Hail Industrial East Mosque is a modern-style mosque located in Muscat, Oman. It is a single-story building with an area of 11,000 square meters and can accommodate up to 4,000 worshippers. The mosque is designed around a central courtyard with a fountain in the middle. The prayer hall is segmented by a large crescent-shaped dome in the center, flanked by two smaller domes. The mihrab is located in the center of the prayer hall. The exterior of the mosque features art-deco design elements and is given character with multiple color options to choose from. The entrance to the mosque is flanked by two impressive minarets. The exterior walls of the mosque are made of glass and ornate with intricate Islamic-inspired embellishments. The interior of the mosque has a contemporary feel, with white walls and modern fixtures. The floor is finished with a light colored marble and an intricately beaded carpet covers the prayer hall. The chandelier installed in the center of the prayer hall is a showstopper and decorative furnishings adorn the walls and around the mihrab. Visiting Hours:
Al Hail Industrial East Mosque is open for visitors to come and pray from 9:00am to 12:30pm and 4:00pm to 8:30pm, from Saturday to Thursday and closed on Friday. The mosque is open for general visitation all day long. best mosque in the world.
