Architecture:
The Al Faqir Mosque is a traditional Omani mosque located in the city of Ibri, in the A'Dhahirah region of central-eastern Oman. The mosque is built in the traditional style, featuring a distinctive blend of ornately decorated buildings and furnishings. The main building of the mosque is built from stone, and is covered with painted designs. Its walls are carved with intricate geometric patterns and colorful floral decorations. Inside, the building consists of three levels, with a prayer hall on the ground level, and offices on the two upper levels. This is topped by a dome with domed windows with beautifully crafted panels of colored glass. Other features such as minarets and turrets decorate the building, adding to its charm. The mosque also features a garden courtyard, which is decorated with trees and plants, as well as a fountain and seating areas for prayer and relaxation. Al Faqir Mosque in Oman is open to visitors from 8.00am to 12.00pm and 4.00pm to 9.00pm on weekdays, and 8.00am to 11.59am and 4.00pm to 8.00pm on Fridays. best mosque in the world.
