St. John of the Cross Ta' Xbiex Parish Church is located in the village of Ta' Xbiex, near Valletta, Malta. The church is dedicated to St. John of the Cross, a Spanish priest and mystic of the Carmelite Order, who lived in the sixteenth century. The building of the church was funded by the local community and it was built in the 1890s. It is a Neo-Romanesque style building, which has a unique octagonal bell tower. The interior features beautiful stained-glass windows, a marble altar and a canopy with a statue of St. John of the Cross. The church holds regular Masses each Sunday, as well as other services including weddings, baptisms and other special occasions.
