The Temple and Rasmancha (Damodar Temple) is of great religious and historical significance. It is said to have been built in the 15th century by Raja Bir Hambir. The temple houses a huge idol of Damodara, which is about 12 feet high and is considered to be made of pure gold. The temple also has several other idols depicting various avatars of Vishnu, including Lord Rama and Lord Narasimha.
