Brief History:
is a 300 year old mosque, situated on the banks of the Subarnarekha River in West Bengal. Built by the Afghan rulers of Bengal during the 18th century, the red-coloured structure is a stunning example of Mughal architecture with its intricate patterns and delicate inscribed ornamentation. The stately domed structure is the one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region. The mosque is protected by the Archaeological Survey of India and attracts visitors from all over the world. It is one of the most famous mosque in India which you must visit.

The Shahi Masjid in Kharagpur, India is a classic example of the Mughal architecture style. The mosque is made of white marble and has an elegant marble dome at the top. Inside, there is a large courtyard surrounded by four minarets and a large fountain. The prayer hall is located at the far end, with 16 arches and a majestic mihrab at the front. The mosque also features intricate relief decorations, silver doors and an intricate interior decorated with colourful tiles. The mosque was built by Ibrahim Shah in 1590, and it has gained an iconic status in the city of Kharagpur. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
