Overview:
The Kurambera fort is situated in the midst of the Vishwamitri River, near Narmadabagh in Vadodara. This fort was constructed by King Bhimdev Solanki in the 11th century. The fort has a distinct architectural style, with walls and tall bastions that are built from beautifully carved out black stone. History:
The fort has several main features, including its large gateways, intricately carved steps, a fort wall and tall bastions, mandir and gomti talab and temples. The gateways are curved to form an arch and the entranceways have a large oriel window, which is used to detect any possible intruder.
