Shahi Masjid, Baramulla, is a 400-year-old mosque located in the town of Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir, India. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir in 1620 AD. The mosque is a rectangular shaped building with two tall minarets, an arched entrance and a domed roof. The walls of the mosque are exquisitely decorated with calligraphy and ornate designs, with a large central dome rising above. The mosque is built on a high platform and consists of a grand prayer hall and a large open courtyard. The façade is decorated with fine architecture, which includes intricate designs carved into the sandstone surface, as well as two central pointed arches flanking the main entrance. The mosque has three domes, one each on the eastern and western wings as well as the main dome in the center. The interiors of the mosque are also decorated with beautiful Mughal artwork and calligraphy. The mosque is also home to an old open-air well and a Durbar Hall.
