Brief History:
Masjid-e-Noor in Patna, India is a 16th-century mosque located near the banks of the River Ganga. Built in 1531, the mosque was constructed on the orders of the Mughal Emperor Humayun, the son of Babur. The mosque is a small but elaborate structure, with its courtyard framed by three arches and a central dome encompassed by circular minor domes. The mosque has two minarets and an impressive entrance crafted with grey stone. The walls of the mosque are also decorated with intricate artwork and colourful tiles, which depict verses from the Quran. Masjid-e-Noor is a popular holy site amongst Muslim worshippers in Patna and is an architectural wonder. It is one of the most famous mosque in India which you must visit.
Architecture:
The architecture of Masjid-e-Noor in Patna, India is of an Indo-Islamic style. It is a large rectangular building with a three-domed structure and a picturesque facade. The entrance is framed by two minarets standing at a height of 60 feet. The interior of the mosque is covered with intricate plasterwork and ornamentation. The walls are decorated with Islamic calligraphy and the floors are tiled in geometric patterns. The imposing central prayer hall has a paved floor made from white marble. There is also a large open courtyard with a marble fountain in the center. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.

Other popular modes of transport include auto-rickshaws, tuk-tuks and cycle-rickshaws.
