Ladaki ka Tila is a historical site situated in the Metrich district of Madhya Pradesh, India. The site is located at an altitude of about 50ft above the surrounding plain and is believed to be the former capital of the Gupta Dynasty. The site was originally discovered in the late 19th century, and is known to have been inhabited since the 4th century AD. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The main attraction of Ladaki ka Tila is the numerous ancient temples, and other archaeological remains from the Gupta period. Some of the temples have been identified as being dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu, and other Hindu deities. The site also houses various sculptures and paintings depicting mythical scenes, religious figures, and historical events. Other features of the site include an ancient palace, and an old fort.
