Brief History:
Jama Masjid, Ongole is a mosque located in Ongole, a town in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. Its construction was started in 1902 during the period of Nizam-ul-Mulk of Hyderabad. This is one of the oldest mosques in the area and is a great tourist spot for exploring the ancient Islamic architecture. The old mosque structure has been reconstructed and expanded in the recent decades. The mosque is spread over a large area and can accommodate around 1,500 people at once. The main feature of the mosque is its three huge domes and three minarets which makes it a popular site to visit. It is one of the most famous mosque in India which you must visit.

The Jama Masjid of Ongole is a mosque located in the town of Ongole, Andhra Pradesh in India. It was built by the rulers of the Qutub Shahi period and is an important landmark in the town. The mosque has a rectangular shape and is built of stone and mortar. The main entrance of the mosque is facing east and the mihrab is located towards the west. Inside the mosque, there are three mihrabs in the southwestern part and one shrine towards the northern side along with a courtyard. The walls of the mosque are decorated with several inscriptions and decorated with white stonework. In the southern wing of the mosque, there is a large open-air hall which is used for prayer gatherings. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
