It is believed to have been built in the 13th century, during the reign of Sultan Ghyasuddin Balban. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
Idgah of Kharehra No. 287 features a typical medieval Indian architecture. It has four distinct entrances and a large central courtyard surrounded by residential structures. The façade of the building is decorated with grand sandstone pillars, stucco carvings and floral patterns. The mosque also houses two massive domes, one of which is 20 feet long and 8 feet wide.
