Brief History:

Architecture:
The Hazrat Sayyed Ali Mira Datar Dargah is a famous shrine located in Nashik, Maharashtra. The shrine is located atop a hill and was established in 1266 AD by Mira Datar, the son of Ali Auliya, a Muslim Sufi saint. The architecture of the shrine features a marble structure surrounded by four walls. The entry point is a wooden door and there is a charbag or masonry portico, which is believed to be one of the oldest surviving examples of this type of architecture in India. Inside, the mausoleum is decorated with intricate patterns and wood carvings. The structure is also surrounded by a curved limestone balustrade that serves as a seating area for devotees. The walls of the shrine are decorated with Quranic verses etched in gilded Arabic script and embellished with colorful paintings. The shrine also contains the tombs of Mira Datar and his family as well as votive tokens and offerings made by devotees. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
