Brief History:
Hazrat Sayyed Ali Mira Datar Dargah is a religious shrine which is situated at Amravati in Maharashtra, India. It is narrated that the shrine was constructed in the 16th century by the Mughal ruler Akbar. This shrine is dedicated to Syed Mira Datar who was a great sufi saint of the 14th century. Hazrat Sayyed Ali Mira Datar Dargah is visited for blessings by many devotees. This is one of the most popular pilgrim’s destinations in Amravati. The Hazrat Sayyed Ali Mira Datar Dargah is a holy site located in the city of Amravati in Maharashtra, India. It is an important pilgrimage for Muslims, as it houses the tomb of Sayyed Ali Mira Datar who was said to have been a direct descendant of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad. The architecture of the dargah is in the Islamic architectural style and comprises a long central hall with ani sabils (charity tanks) and mausoleums and tombs of Syed Ali Mira Datar and other Sufi saints. The main building of the dargah is also surrounded by several smaller structures including a prayer hall and two minarets. The walls and floors of the main structure are decorated with marble, jali (stone trellises) and other ornamentation, while the inner sanctum is surrounded by an exquisitely carved marble screen. The entire structure is a majestic example of Islamic architecture. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.

The visiting hours of the Hazrat Sayyed Ali Mira Datar Dargah in Amravati, India, vary according to the season. During the months of May through October, visitors are welcome to visit the dargah from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
