Brief History:

This Dargah is believed to be approximately 600 years old and is believed to be the resting place of Hazrat Khwaja Bande Nawaz. People from different religions come here to pray and pay their respects to Hazrat Khwaja Bande Nawaz. Various festivities and events related to Sufism are held throughout the year at the Dargah. The Hazrat Khwaja Bande Nawaz Dargah is a sacred Islamic site in Bidar, India. The Dargah is located in a large compound and is home to a mosque, tombs, and other monuments that date back to the 16th century. The entrance of the compound is a huge gate, which is intricately decorated with calligraphy, tiles, and ornamental pillars. It also features a minaret, which is the central structure of the Dargah. The mosque is a single-domed structure that has a large courtyard, surrounded by four arches supported by columns. Inside the courtyard are several graves, including the revered grave of the saint himself. There are also several small domes and screened rooms that were once used for private prayers. The exterior of the complex is decorated with intricate stonework and carvings. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
