The Gateway of Lal Kot, also known as the Lal Kot Fort or Qila Rai Pithora is the oldest fort in Delhi and located in Mehrauli area of Delhi. The fort was built by the Tomar rulers of Delhi in the 8th century AD. It is believed to be the first ever citadel erected in Delhi.
