Overview:
Masjid is a historic mosque located in the city of Bagerhat, Bangladesh. Built in 1454 by the Sultanate of Bengal, it is one of the largest, oldest mosques in the country. It is also known as Khan Jahan's Masjid; was built by Khan Jahan, governor of Bagerhat (1459-1460). This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
Raveli Masjid is an impressive example of Sultanate architecture. It is a four-domed mosque with a large courtyard and features an Islamic tomb. The red bricks and sandstone arches with intricate carvings and other decorative designs make it an impressive sight. The mosque also has a large underground room that was used as a holy sanctuary during worship. You must visit one of these historical places in India on your India tour
