History:
Tallinna Kristlik Vabakogudus was established in 1866 when the union between the Estonian Lutheran and United Free Church was founded. The first service was held in the churchyard of the Saint Nicholas Church. During the Soviet era, Tallinna Kristlik Vabakogudus was forced to operate in secrecy, but after Estonia regained its independence in 1991, the congregation underwent a period of revival and growth. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Estonia.
