EELK kirikupäev ja vaimulik laulupidu is a special day that is celebrated by members of the Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church (EELK). This day is celebrated each year on the second Sunday in June. On this special holiday, members of EELK attend a spiritual service that commemorates EELK’s life and mission and sing hymns together. This holiday was first celebrated in 1993 and the service usually consists of prayers and sermons taught by EELK priests and lay people. This day usually culminates in a communal singing of traditional hymns and sometimes new hymns and spiritual songs. This celebration is a great time for members of the church to come together and celebrate the unity and worship of their faith.
