History:

College of Art (CCA) by Larnaca was founded in 1985 in partnership between the Cyprus Government and the Higher Education Board of the Greek Government. The college’s purpose, according to the agreement with the Cyprus Government was to provide art education and services at undergraduate degree level mainly to Cyprus citizens, but also to those of other countries. The college has seen an expansion of its curriculum and services over the years, which include options in multimedia, film, and photography, as well as several short courses and workshops. The college is one of the oldest and most respected institutions of its kind in the Mediterranean basin. At present, CCA offers both Bachelor and Masters degrees in Arts and Design, and consists of two faculties, the Faculty of Applied Arts and the Faculty of Communication and Media.
