History:

Kyperounda Winery was established in 1986 by two highly experienced wine producers, Marinos Miltiadou and Yiannos Xenofontos. Located in the Khirokitia region of Limassol in the Southern part of Cyprus, the winery is among the oldest wineries in the country. Prior to its establishment, the winery was a traditional Cypriot farmhouse utilizing old-fashioned grape-pressing techniques. The founders decided to bring modern technology to the winemaking, and the winery was reorganized and renovated at the height of wine technology. The winery's main goal and focus is to produce only quality wines with an emphasis on the varieties that suit Cyprus' climate, such as the local variety Xynisteri, the red varieties Maratheftiko and Lefkada, as well as some whites such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Vilho.
