Church of St. Anselm is a historic church in Aquehonga, New York, USA. It is a part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse. It was established in 1852 and is dedicated to Saint Anselm (1033-1109), the Bishop of Aosta, Italy, and philosopher and theologian of the scholastic period. History St. Anselm Church was founded in 1852, originally as a mission church but was soon dedicated as a diocesan parish in 1855. Built upon the site of an earlier frame church, the church was designed by Andrew Jackson Warner, who also designed the nearby Church of Our Lady of the Lake. The design of St. Anselm Church is characterized by the Romanesque Revival style, with its round arches, brick veneer, hipped roof, and twin bell towers.
