Founded in 1970 by Pastor Richard Heitzig, Christian Center Word of Life has grown to more than 7,000 members throughout 13 states and nine countries. The church offers multiple services and activities for all ages, as well as a wide range of resources for spiritual growth and development. History:

Christian Center Word of Life was founded in 1970 by Pastor Richard Heitzig when he and his family moved from California to North Carolina. Additionally, the church’s ministry expanded when Dr. Myles Munroe was given ministerial oversight of the church in 1992, and successfully pursued the church's mission of creating Christian disciples and educating leaders for the Kingdom of God. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Croatia.
