History:

Nabji Korphu Trek is one of the most popular trekking routes in Bhutan. The trek first became popular in the 1990s as a five-day trek along the Paro Chhu River, beginning in the Paro Valley and ending in the remote village of Nabji Korphu. The route is a great way for travelers to experience the cultural and religious life of the rural villages and to explore the unique landscapes of Bhutan. The trek follows an ancient trading route known as the Korphu Trail, which was used by the people of Bhutan over centuries as a route to trade goods between Paro and neighbouring villages.
