History:

Hunte's Gardens is a unique botanical garden located in the parish of Saint Joseph on the Caribbean island of Barbados. It was established and developed by Anthony Hunte, an English expatriate who made his home in Barbados in the late 1950s. Hunte was an accomplished horticulturist who developed a passion for plants and flowers while living in Barbados and decided to create his own garden as a way to showcase the beauty of the Caribbean flora.
