The Teknaf Jame Mosque was built in 1571 by Sultan Firoz Shah, a ruler of the powerful Bengal Sultanate. The mosque has a square plan with four semi-circular domes that are topped by cusped and pointed arches. The walls of the mosque are made of brick coated with white and yellow stucco decoration.
