The Baliakandi Jame Mosque in Rajbari, Bangladesh is a two-storeyed masonry mosque structure built on a raised platform that is 4 m in height. The entrance is on the north side of the mosque and the main prayer hall is located on the east side. The mosque is decorated with traditional white-wash and red motifs. The walls are built of brick and covered with stucco and ornamented with floral motifs in glazed-tile of blue, yellow and green color. The roof of the mosque is made of bamboo and crowned with a deconstructed roof with a bulbous-shaped turban-shaped dome in the center. The interior features carved wooden columns, whitewash motifs and tiles inscriptions. The floor is made of marble and features traditional designs.
