Satbaria Jame Mosque was built in 1748 by Hazi Shaikul Islam Chowdhury during the Subedar period of the Mughal Emperor Alamgir II. The mosque is built in typical Mughal style and has four minarets and four small domes on the four corners. The mosque has a rectangular patio surrounded by five arches on four sides with an impressive main hall called 'Lama Gujar', which has 12 doors and 96 pillars.
