It is located in the district of Kishoreganj, Bangladesh, and is said to have been constructed during the rule of the Bengal Sultan Mahammad Nasiruddin Mahmud Shah. The mosque has a unique architecture, featuring a prayer hall with three two-story domes and a towering minaret that stands at a height of 58.97ft. The mosque is noted for its exquisite terracotta carvings, which includes depictions of Arabic texts and Koranic verses. It is one of the few monuments in Bangladesh that has preserved its original form since its inception. It is one of the most famous mosque in Bangladesh which you must visit.

Architecture:

The Bhairab Jame Mosque is an important example of the Bangladesh's pre-Mughal architecture. It is a two-storeyed rectangular structure, constructed in a relatively simple style of architecture. The walls and domes are decorated with terracotta tiles and floral designs, and are made of brick and stucco. The mosque has four domes and four minarets. The interior wall and ceiling of the mosque are magnificently decorated with coloured glazed terracotta tiles. The floor is inlaid with marble. The central mihrab is further adorned with an intricate floral pattern. The windows on the eastern and western walls are beautifully decorated with geometric designs. There are two main entrances to the mosque, both of which have intricately carved wooden doors. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
