Bhandaria Jame Mosque is a mosque located in Bhandaria Upazila, Pirojpur District of Bangladesh. It was built by Bakht Ali during the Mughal period in the 13th century. The Bhandaria Jaame Mosque is a historical mosque in Pirojpur, Bangladesh. It is believed to have been founded in 1634, during the reign of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, and is one of the oldest surviving mosques in the region. The mosque is rectangular in shape, and is made of brick, stone and lime. The outer wall of the mosque, facing east, is divided into five sections, and has three arched entranceways with pointed mihrabs. The central mihrab is the largest and is decorated with floral designs. The interior of the mosque features five mihrabs, lined up one beside the other. The interior walls are also decorated with plasterwork and floral patterns. The main prayer hall has a raised platform along the eastern wall with staircases rising on either side. The roof of the prayer hall is constructed in a Bengali style with four terraced beams. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
