The Puthia Rajbari Mosque (puthia rajbari masjid) is an ancient mosque located in the village of Puthia, in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Built in the late 18th century, this three-domed mosque is the largest of its kind in the Greater Rajshahi area, considered to be one of the most spectacular examples of Mughal architecture in Bengal. Influenced by both Islamic and Mughal architecture, the mosque has a rectangular central chamber, with three matching rectangular corner towers. The walls of the mosque are decorated with mouldings and elaborate panels in terracotta, featuring floral and geometric patterns. The central facade of the mosque is well proportioned, with a large central doorway which leads into the prayer hall. The roof is covered with an exquisite pattern of glazed, coloured tiles and crowned with three bulbous domes supported on intricately carved stone and brick pillars. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
