Noagaon Jame Mosque is located in the town of Noagaon in Bangladesh. The mosque has a rectangular plan with a large single story prayer chamber. The walls are made from mud and brick and the upper part of the building is roofed with curved terracotta tiles laid on an earthenware frame. The mosque also has an ornate minaret and a hauzi (reservoir) in its courtyard. Its exterior is decorated with intricate terracotta carvings which feature a blend of Hindu, Islamic, and Mughal artistic motifs. The interior walls are also decorated with painted floral and geometric designs. The mosque was recently restored and continues to be an active place of worship. The Noagaon Jame Mosque is an example of Mughal architecture, located in Noagaon village, Netrokona Sadar Upazila, Netrokona District, Bangladesh. It was built in 1412, which makes it one of the oldest mosques in the area. The mosque is built in an irregular rectangle shape, with a single dome sitting atop four detached corner towers. The interior of the mosque is divided into three compartments, with the central room being the open prayer hall, and the two side compartments each containing two rooms. The walls are decorated with terracotta plaques and the roof is supported by 12 small domes. The prayer hall is decorated with mural painting and frames in white and blue. The main entrance to the mosque is located at the eastern side, with two subsidiary entrances located at the northern and southern sides.
